Cyprus
is an island of almost infinite variety. 2,200 square miles still
remains under government control and in this area you can find superb
mountain scenery, forests, fascinating coastlines and beaches as well as
places of great historical importance. It is certainly well worth
spending some time exploring
Carob and olive-tree covered hills
scattered with traditional villages and beautiful unspoilt, beaches are
the setting of Neo Chorion, one of the most beautiful areas in Cyprus.
It is situated on the northwest corner of the island, between the Akamas
peninsula and the harbour of Latsi.
Neo Chorion is an upland village, whose
residents smile politely welcoming the tourists at the cafes. It is an
ideal spot to leave the car and head out for an hour's hiking along one
of the trails or tracks that lead higher into the hills.
2km
away from it, you meet fabulous beaches and a little harbour called
-Latsi-. Latsi is a colourful <<hive>> of fish restaurants
and tavernas. Mullet, fangri and calamari are on offer, and visitors
with an adventurous palate may wish to try a fish -mezze- with local
wine. Polis town and Latsi harbour offer an ideal night life spectrum of
pubs, restaurants, cafes and discos extending' to the more traditional
events of village fairs and weddings.
Luxurious
apartments set in an unspoilt, quiet location with miles of
country-side, an oasis in an environment, which will be difficult to
compete.
8 km away from Polis Chrysochous, 4km from the Baths of Aphrodite, with
panoramic view of the sea and the mountains. Probably one of the finest
residential areas of the island, combining the charm of the traditional
architecture and the purity of natural materials and offering the
comfort and quality of luxurious all season resort.
